SBC Cares: Thanksgiving Food Drive

Each year, the Small Business Council of Rochester provides Thanksgiving food boxes to families in need. This event occurs throughout the month prior to Thanksgiving, as participating companies collect food at their locations. Food boxes are built and delivered to non-profits across Monroe County approximately one week before the holiday. Every year thousands of families receive these boxes at the perfect time to make a delicious Thanksgiving meal!

Building Food Boxes

Dozens of volunteers gather to sort, build and deliver food boxes to local, not-for-profit organizations who serve these families.

Making A Difference

Each Thanksgiving, the SBC of Rochester seeks to meet the needs of more than 4,000 local families. Members and contributors have donated the cash equivalent of more than $1,250,000 in food supplies to families for over 20 years.
