SBC Cares: Backpack Give Back
With an overwhelming 52% of children in the Greater Rochester area living in poverty, the purchase of school supplies is a burden. The goal of the SBC Cares Backpack Giveback program is to provide students in need with backpacks filled with school supplies at the beginning of each school year. SBC members can rally their companies’ employees to purchase school supplies and build backpacks or decide to make a monetary donation to this cause.

Each year we provide hundreds of bookbags for Rochester children in need. Each bag is filled with school supplies that they'll need to succeed!
Kids Join In!
Collecting school supplies and stuffing backpacks is something that kids can get in on, too! We welcome Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce members, SBC of Rochester members and their children to help with this giving experience.
